Springfield Overhead Door in Ohio is looking to expand our team of trusted technicians to serve the area of Clark County and beyond.

We work in both commercial and residential spaces and offer a wide variety of services and products to our customers. If this has piqued your interest, let us tell you a little more!

What Does a Garage Door Technician Do?

When a garage door needs to be installed or breaks, the garage door technician comes to the rescue. As a garage door technician, you will work with our clients to fix anything that is impending the operation of their garage door. This could include broken springs or worn door panels. You will also become proficient in installing brand new overhead garage doors.

This service will apply to our products beyond garage doors including exterior doors, docking equipment, other types of overhead doors, patio doors, and more!

As a Garage Door Technician, you will acquire a wide range of skills and some excellent customer service experience. You will get to meet with each customer to talk about their needs or problems and do a visual inspection.

You may be dealing with something vague such as a strange noise or something obvious like a broken spring. Either way, you give a cost estimate for your work, including parts and labor. And then get to work, solving the problem!

As a company, we keep safety a top priority. Garage doors can weigh hundreds of pounds, and have tightly wound springs that can break at any point. Because of this, you often work with another Technician or a Garage Door Installer to make sure you complete the job safely and on time.

The Benefits

This job will include paid vacation time off as well as paid holidays throughout the year. Medical and Dental insurance benefits are provided and a 401k match option.
